Responsibilities

• Handle Database environments, supervising system health, capacity planning, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security;
• Incident Management, Problem Management, Root Cause Analysis;
• Installation, patching, and upgrades of databases;
• Proactively supervise the database systems to detect performance problems, SQL tuning, and Database tuning;
• Administration of SAP HANA databases, SAP (Sybase) Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) database;
• Define and implement backup and recovery and high availability scenario and strategies for SAP Systems;
• Performance Analysis and Capacity Management of SAP Environments;
• Maintain internal support guides and technical documentation.

Required skills and Experience

• Knowledge and experience in Database administration;
• Familiarity and understanding of RDBMS concepts;
• Managing large databases is a plus;
• SQL and Oracle RDBМS knowledge is an advantage;
• Experience with various tools like HANA cockpit, OEM, SQL developer etc.;
• University-level degree in IT or a related field;
• Work in an international environment;
• Written and spoken English is essential;
• Good communications skills;
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
