The IT Network Security Engineer will have the opportunity to support the growth of our business in a fast-changing environment. As part of the IT department, you will play an important role in ensuring the availability and security of our IT platform. This opportunity is a full-time CDI contract.
ABOUT THE JOB
What will you do?
As an IT Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Manage the bank’s IT network infrastructure including data lines, routing, DNS, WAN, LAN, WIFI, on-premises and in the cloud;
- Manage the IT security infrastructure such as firewalls and other appliances on-premises and in the cloud;
- Actively contribute to IT infrastructure transformation projects, Microsoft Cloud solutions and migrations;
- Manage IT security related systems and appliances for identity management, vulnerability management, privileged access management, antivirus and data leak prevention;
- Ensure professional documentation is accurate and up-to-date;
- Monitor and improve network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, working with vendors or other IT teams as necessary;
- Work closely with our security officers to ensure system integrity and security.
ABOUT YOU
What’s your background?
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or equivalent combination of education and significant professional experience (min. 5 years) in a similar position;
- Strong experience in managing the following network areas:
- Core networks (Cisco, Cisco Meraki);
- Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto);
- Security: NAC (Cisco ISE), certificate authentication (dot1x) and SSL certificate management;
- Routing: BGP, OSPF, VRF.
- Good experience in the following fields:
- Orchestration of cloud network infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP);
- Virtual private networks (VPN);
- Security principles and methods;
- Information security and governance systems;
- ITIL framework.
- Good understanding of high available environments, security, and data protection technologies;
- Knowledge in automation scripting such as Ansible can be an asset;
- Knowledge in the Elasticsearch and Kibana stack can be an advantage;
- Professional experience in the financial industry, digital banking or fintech would be advantageous.
