What you'll be doing:

Develop new user-facing features;
Build reusable code and libraries for future use;
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs;
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability;
Utilize a variety of markup languages to write web pages;
Maintain code consistency throughout the entire project;
Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.

What you'll need to be successful:

Must haves:

3+ years of proven work experience as a senior front-end developer;
Expert proficiency with HTML & SCSS;
Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery;
Experience in building large and modular codebases;
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them;
Familiarity with browser testing and debugging;
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (GIT);
Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, minify assets. Familiarity with tools such as Photoshop and Figma is a plus;
Knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them;
Knowledge of PHP language to be able to integrate the layout into the platform;
Experience in an Agile environment using Scrum methodologies an asset;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
Excellent organization and communication skills (English is required).
