Role Description

Join us in shaping the future of eBay advertising! Be an integral part of the team building out a new unified advertising platform – a foundation of eBay marketplace.

You’ll be working on a variety of the services, tools and components and will be actively involved in all aspects of development. You will also be expected to:

Design and build high-performing, reliable solutions for high-throughput, distributed systems using a variety of third-party and eBay internal libraries and frameworks;
Integrate closely w/colleagues in different functional groups and remote offices;
Communicate effectively within your team and across teams;
Balance strong ownership and teamwork;
Research, innovate, deliver and grow.

Job Requirements

BS/BA in Computer Science or related field plus 8+ years work experience or MS with 6-8 years of relevant experience;
Experience developing Android applications & commercial software with Java and Kotlin;
Experience with Jetpack Compose;
Experience with Android Studio, GIT, Jira, profilers, Gradle and debuggers;
Experience integrating with web services & using HTTP, TCP/IP and databases;
Experience with Unit-testing;
Knowledge of core CS concepts such as common data structures and algorithms;
Code samples from private github repos, side projects, and open source project contributions is a plus.
