As a Technical Supply Coordinator you will be at the heart of ensuring all elements of this complex system work together to deliver world leading meteorological products.
Within the Computer and Storage Management (CSM) Competence Area, the Technical Supply Coordinator will be responsible for initiating and technically coordinating the procurements of IT equipment. The coordinator will be the single point of contact for hardware, software and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) related services or procurements. The Technical Supply Coordinator will be the Technical Officer of large service contracts, like the multi-vendor hardware and software maintenance, the license management service contract and the frame contract for supply of operational IT Equipment and software/firmware.
EUMETSAT’s role is to establish and operate meteorological satellites to monitor the weather and climate from space - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This information is supplied to the National Meteorological Services of the organisation's Member and Cooperating States in Europe, as well as other users worldwide.
EUMETSAT also operates several Copernicus missions on behalf of the European Union and provide data services to the Copernicus marine and atmospheric services and their users.
