Our Exciting Opportunity
We are looking for Senior Java Developer to one of the Business Managed Services team. As a Senior Developer in our team be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of software used in near-real-time automation systems that are part of one of the biggest Managed Services platforms all over the world!
You will
- Develop high quality products
- Produce work in accordance with principles and standard methodologies of quality software development
- Learn and imbibe methodologies while working within a multi-functional team
- Collaborate with team members to work towards Definition of Done
- Take ownership of the solution from development to deployment!
To be successful in the role you must have
- 3+ years tried hands-on Java programming experience (Java SE 8)
- 6+ months confirmed experience in development (Spock, JUnit/Mockito)
- Knowledge of basic design patterns
- Experience in software development supporting tools (Git, JIRA)
- Basic knowledge with databases
- Basic knowledge and experience with Linux operating systems
- Skills to prepare well crafted, sophisticated, testable and efficient code
- Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Technology, Telecommunication or an equivalent education;
- Ability to co-operate in teams, projects and networks globally to achieve results
- Experience of working in global multicultural environment
- Shares existing information, ideas and knowledge
- Self-motivated and works with minimal direction
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
We are working with: Java SE 8, Spock, JUnit/Mockito, Git, JIRA, Code review (e.g. Gerrit), Agile/Scrum Methodology, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), Ansible, Gradle, Groovy, Spring, Hibernate, Guava, Integration with ESB-based solutions, RESTful API design, Designing distributed and multithreaded systems, Software debugging.
