CONTEXT & JOB DESCRIPTION
You will work in close collaboration with the IT Group Heads, other internal technical specialists as well as with the representatives of our Consortium members (representatives of Consortia we are involved in). We are looking for someone having experience with the submission of proposals or project execution follow-up to EU funded projects. The ideal candidate shall be well organized in his/her daily work and shall possess resilience capacity to permanently embark and align the positions of all the Consortium members.
The main tasks of the position will include:
- Networking with other Institutes, identifying potential contacts and partners;
- Investigation of possible opportunities;
- Define the most appropriate Consortium scheme for submission of proposals;
- Coordination of the submission of proposal for grants;
- Management and organization of the projects;
- Responsible for the consolidation of technical documentation and reports;
- Organization of coordination meetings;
- Establishing and maintaining contacts with European Consortia;
- Risk analysis;
- Internal communication and reporting;
- Time-sheet management;
- Budget follow-up.
EXPECTED PROFILE
- Higher university degree in a scientific area, computer science, IT technology or project management (worth at least 300 ECTS);
- 10 years of professional experience including at least three years at a position in relation with EU funded projects for submission or project execution phase;
- Knowledge of European Commission methodology and terminology;
- Scientific background or experience as a scientist will be appreciated;
- Experience in project management;
- Skills in IT would be a plus;
- Excellent written communication and editing skills in English are essential.
