We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior QA Engineer (f/m/d) to support the day-to-day development and testing activities of our core team. These are exciting times in our space - we are growing fast and working on ambitious new initiatives.
Your role
- You will be an integral part of our agile QA team assuring the quality of all SLX tools
- You will design, implement, and maintain our test automation infrastructure
- You take responsibility for running a highly-efficient test-infrastructure and -process
- You develop new and update existing test cases increasing our test coverage every day
- You help developers to test their features in the most efficient way, making releases go smoothly and without pain
- You stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Requirements
- You are well-versed in test automation for software products written in C/C++ and Python, and have relevant professional experience of at least 3 years
- You have a university degree in Software Engineering, Engineering, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation, Information Technology or a comparable technical subject
- You are a great communicator who spreads a quality-focused mindset and likes to push and work on topics independently
- You have excellent knowledge of writing clear, concise test cases and finding corner cases
- You have very good knowledge and experience with C/C++ as well as Python
- You have very good knowledge about (Source Code) Configuration Management systems, preferably with Git, Issue tracking systems, ideally JIRA, and test management tools (e.g. X-Ray, TestLink)
- As a plus, you have
- experience in the FPGA domain (e.g. VHDL, Xilinx tooling)
- skills in Typescript, Javascript, or ReactJS and testing associated test frameworks like Mocha, Chai, Selenium
- experience in working with IDEs (e.g. VSCode, Eclipse)
- knowledge of the C/C++ compilation process (e.g. with GNU make, CMake)
