Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Discipline Leader Software Verification (d/f/m).

The successful applicant will join the department "Flight Control Software". This team is developing safety critical software, covering manned and unmanned air vehicles in several programmes like Eurofighter, FCAS and Eurodrone. The successful candidate will join the Eurofighter Flight Control System Joint Team. This international team with members from all Eurofighter Partner companies is responsible for the In-Service Support and Long Term Evolution of the Flight Control System for Eurofighter, the world's most advanced swing-role combat aircraft.

Your tasks and responsibilities

You will be responsible and lead the SW Verification team of the Eurofighter Flight Control System Joint Team;
You will develop embedded safety critical software for the Flight Control System of the Eurofighter;
You will be in close contact with the supplier and manage external work packages;
You will have the chance to further develop and improve the verification strategy for upcoming future programmes;
You will work in a highly motivated, international and agile team.

Desired skills and qualifications

University Degree in Computer Science or similar;
Experience in Software verification;
Experience in ADA, C or Java;
Knowledge in Python would be desirable;
Experience in Eurofighter development standards would be desirable;
At least 5 years experience in related fields of safety critical embedded Software development;
Fluent in English, German would be beneficial.
