Your future mission is to elaborate and define the IT Architecture as part of Airbus Company Initiative for Digital Design Manufacturing and Services (DDMS). Along the Airbus Aircraft Customization Process from Offer/Definition the Cabin Design is the bridging function towards Manufacturing and Services. Major components of the Cabin (Engineering) Design IT Architecture are Early Digital Mock-up (eDMU), automation of Rules and Checks, generation of contractual and certification relevant documents and fully integrated vendor tracking. Main enablers are integrated technical platforms and continuous data flow (Business Information Model).
Your roles and responsibilities will look like:
- Acts as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future IT Products & Services and validates product designs;
- Collaborates with other Architects, systems analysts, and developers to deliver the highest quality solutions via cutting edge technologies;
- Defines models, including solution patterns, to guide solution decisions;
- Participates in all phases of the application development life cycle including research and design, development, testing, implementation and support;
- Aligns architecture strategy with the organization's business goals and long- term strategic planning for the organization's Information systems;
- Performs the technical/functional design of the application and infrastructure components of a new solution according to the defined functional design;
- Provides an expertise on Business processes, change management transformation, function improvement and technology enablement for Business processes reengineering and supports architects during projects.
Your skills:
- University degree in IT, Aerospace or similar;
- Experience in System Architecture, System Integration and Data Automation;
- Being able to work independently and with your team;
- Actively develop and drive your business internally and with external partners;
- Agile working style;
- English fluent;
- German is a plus.
