Description

Our UniQue Team is growing and in our amazing team, we are looking for a AWS Data Engineer to join us. You will be working on a number of exciting projects in a challenging, dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Design, implement, and maintain the data architecture for all AWS data services;
Design and implement ETL processes to load data into the data warehouse;
Optimize data models for performance and efficiency;
Write SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting;
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines;
Generate reports and dashboards to visualize data;
Collaborate with software engineers to design and implement data-driven features;
Perform root cause analysis on data issues;
Keep up to date with new AWS data services and features;
Maintain documentation of the data architecture and ETL processes;
Train other team members on how to use the data architecture and ETL processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field;
Minimum 3 years professional experience working with data in a business setting;
Experience with AWS data services;
Proficient in SQL for data analysis and manipulation;
Experience with ETL (extract, transform, load) processes;
Strong understanding of modern approaches to data engineering and the best approach to solve our customers’ unique data problems;
Knowledge of SQL and Python, other languages are preferable (PySpark, Java, Scala);
Experience in Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake);
Strong experience building ETL/ELT pipelines, Data Lakes and Data Warehouses;
Experience with Apache Spark;
Experience with data visualization tools;
Good analytical and creative problem-solving skills;
Open mindset, ability to quickly adapt new technologies;
Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand;
Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments;
Professional cloud certifications;
Excellent knowledge of English language;
Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment.
