Daily challenges

• Dealing with latest security threats and vulnerabilities. Prevent Incidents or resolve them when they occur
• Deep-level troubleshooting in conjunction with vendor and third-party support within the applicable technology platform that is responsible for
• Maintaining and supporting variety of security technologies from one of the leading global brands
• Preparing/Implementing changes within the applicable technology platform that is responsible for
• Producing and leading project plans related to the platform/technology that is responsible for
• Participating in on-call duty shift schedule

eXperience and skills required

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related disciplines. Alternatively, an equivalent level of experience.
• At least 4 years of IT experience, ideally in support of Network Security environments
• Strong technical knowledge of Firewall technologies (Checkpoint, Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto)
• Experience with IPS/IDS technology, Proxy (Bluecoat or other proxy vendor), Load Balancers and ASM modules (F5 or other similar vendors).
• Experience with Dell and Cisco Switch technologies
• Understanding of Zone Base Firewall concept
• Knowledge about security threats
• Good understanding and adherence to the ITIL framework (Change Management, etc.)
• Autonomy and good problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English language

What we will consider as an advantage:

• Experience with NGFW, Cloud Based Firewalls (Azure, AWS), SD-WAN technology or Zscaler will be considered as a plus.
• Experience with Open Switch technologies (SONIC OS)
• Verbal and written German Language
