At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Senior Jira/Confluence Administrator to join our UniQue team.
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Administer, configure, and maintain Atlassian products (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence, along with relevant plugins).
- Collaborate with development and design teams to enhance workflows, custom fields, automations, release processes, and service desk configurations.
- Perform routine application administration tasks such as scheduled jobs, re-indexing, plugin updates, and system monitoring.
- Manage user and group permissions, Jira project configurations, and security settings.
- Coordinate prompt issue resolution with other Jira administrators, internal teams, and Atlassian Premier Support.
- Develop and maintain Jira dashboards, filters, boards, and reporting tools.
- Test and validate new versions of Atlassian tools and plugins, and lead upgrade initiatives.
- Evaluate and manage the use of third-party add-ons to meet business and team needs.
- Research and apply industry best practices and new approaches to Atlassian tool usage.
- Document current system configurations and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct training sessions and onboard new users on Jira and Confluence usage and best practices.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively under tight deadlines.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of professional IT experience, or Master’s degree and 4 years of professional IT experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira Service Management, including: User Management and Project Configuration, Add-ons (Insight, Notification Assistant, Elements Copy & Sync, Time to SLA, EazyBI, Extension for Jira Service Desk, etc.), and plugin upgrades and configuration.
- Knowledge of Jira Archive add-ons and upgrade processes.
- Proficiency in Jira administration (project configuration, permission schemes, issue types, screens, notifications), integrating Jira with third-party applications, system logging, basic troubleshooting, workflow customization, and editing.
- Experience administering Confluence (pages, user management, permissions).
- Familiarity with ongoing issue tracking and resolution across Jira projects.
- Linux administration skills (system maintenance and upgrades).
- Basic understanding of Java for plugin configuration and Jira source-level insights.
- Excellent use of the English language (verbal & written)
