About the role

We are looking to hire a highly motivated Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in Open-Source tech stack running in AWS cloud. This position requires a hands-on developer who will actively engage in the entire software development process, including design, development, unit testing, and technical documentation, while also driving both front-end and back-end development and demonstrating a solid understanding of mobile app development (iOS & Android) and cloud technologies.

You need to have a strong product mindset and be deeply interested in understanding the client's perspective and committed to their success. This role requires someone eager to learn and embrace new challenges, ready to actively participate in discussions, clearly articulate their viewpoints, and effectively discuss trade-offs when technical decisions have been made. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively are essential. You will collaborate closely with our Nordic development team to effectively support our customer, the Finnish Olympic Committee. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust software solutions using React, Typescript, Java and Kotlin according to client requirements
• Utilize AWS to develop and maintain cloud services for application ecosystem needs
• Create and maintain dynamic front-end applications Integrate with server-side RESTful APIs
• Deliver high-quality software based on FE & BE standards with implementing unit testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy applications
• Improve performance and reliability of existing software through troubleshooting and regular updates
• Implement extensive unit and integration testing for both back-end and front-end components
• Adopt a customer-centric mindset to ensure solutions align with business goals and client needs

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working as Software Developer
• 3+ years of experience with React, TypeScript, Java and AWS
• Strong understanding of best coding practices for both front-end and back-end development
• Understands the importance of unit, integration, and other testing types, incorporating appropriate test plans into deliverables, and/or is adept in Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices
• Experience creating solutions in an international context
• Product mindset and customer-focused approach
• Collaborative and responsible team player ready to tackle different technologies and new challenges
• Self-starter who is decisive, works at a fast pace, takes ownership in the development, and drives towards team success
• Growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
• Confident in working with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks
• Excellent communication skills, adaptable to diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proficient in spoken and written English

A significant advantage would be

• Experience with Kotlin and Swift
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure
• Experience with mobile development
• Experience with storage solution like PostgreSQL or similar, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Experience with integrations of 3rd party systems
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
