Reporting to the Head of Immunology Cluster within the MSAT DSD Recombinant Platform, the Data Scientist will provide the statistical support for the internal customers: MSAT USP (UpStream), MSAT DSP (DownStream) and MSAT Analytics. The Data Scientist will also be connected with other MSAT DSD people for harmonization, improvement, …

Main responsibilities:

Implement the statistical methodology for a protocol.
Carry out statistical analyses (including writing a report).
Writing statistical procedures and instructions.
Explain statistical results to customers (capacity to popularize statistics).
Providing education to customers on data science/statistics.
Bring statistical support in case of questions from health authorities.
Conduct technical monitoring to implement innovative statistical methods.

About you

Master’s Degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics with minimum 5 years of experience in industrial statistics.
Fluent in English, French is a plus.
Rigorous, dynamic and pedagogue.
Strong knowledge in statistics:
- Statistical Process Control (SPC)/Continued Process Verification (CPV) (calculation of control limits, tolerance intervals and of capability indices, control charts, …).
- Sample size / Power study.
- Comparability study.
- Prediction intervals.
- Population comparison (parametric and non-parametric tests, equivalence tests, …).
- Multivariate analyses/Machine learning algorithms (PCA, PLS regression, Random Forest, …).
- Linear and non-linear modelisation.
- Qualification and Validation of analytical methods (linearity, intermediate precision, …).
- Design Of Experiments (screening, factors study, optimization, robustness).
- Bayesian statistics.
- Etc…
Strong knowledge in statistical software/progamming languages:JMP, SIMCA, Modde, Design Expert, PASS, R, Python, …
Occasional trips to other Sanofi immunology sites: Vitry-sur-Seine, Lyon Gerland, Framingham.
