We are seeking a skilled Senior PHP Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you’ll contribute to building and enhancing our PHP-based lending and banking solutions, driving innovation and delivering high-quality, scalable systems that shape the future of financial services.

What you’ll do:

• Build new features for our in-house PHP-based lending and banking platforms;
• Troubleshoot and enhance existing systems to ensure peak performance and reliability;
• Work with a team of experienced developers to deliver clean, scalable code;
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure robust solutions;
• Implement best design and coding practices, contributing bold ideas to our projects.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of programming experience, with at least 1 year on large-scale projects;
• Advanced knowledge of PHP, including experience with PHP 8;
• Familiarity with PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony;
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns;
• Experience with the agile software development lifecycle;
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-Have skills:

• Experience with Microservices architecture, event sourcing, and distributed systems;
• Knowledge of tools like RabbitMQ, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and ElasticSearch;
• Familiarity with caching technologies like Redis or Memcached;
• Hands-on experience with development tools: PHPStorm, GitHub, Bamboo, or JIRA;
• Practical knowledge of PHP Unit, Codeception, or similar testing frameworks.
