At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing, and we are looking for an Application Architect to join our UniQue team.

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Lead the design and evolution of scalable, secure and high-performing Java-based enterprise architectures across cloud and hybrid environments;
• Define Microservices, Event-Driven and API-based architectures using modern frameworks such as Spring Boot, Quarkus, and Java EE;
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, architectural patterns, and tools aligned with project and enterprise goals;
• Establish coding and architectural best practices across teams, including design patterns, clean architecture, and DevSecOps integration;
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, BAs, PMs, and Business stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with strategic objectives;
• Drive the implementation of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure/ AWS, GitHub Actions, etc.) and promote infrastructure as code and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes);
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams, enabling architectural agility and knowledge transfer;
• Ensure system reliability, performance tuning, and security compliance across distributed systems;
• Produce and maintain architecture deliverables, including solution blueprints, integration maps, and technical documentation.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field;
• Minimum 8 years of professional Java development experience, with 3+ years in a hands-on architectural role;
• Proven expertise in Spring, Quarkus, Java EE, and Hibernate/JPA;
• Extensive experience designing cloud-native and Microservice architectures on Azure, AWS, or GCP;
• Familiarity with event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), API gateways, and service mesh architectures;
• Strong experience with CI/CD, containerization, DevOps toolchains, and performance monitoring;
• Working knowledge of Front-end frameworks (Angular, React) is a plus;
• TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification is highly desirable;
• Strong stakeholder communication and technical documentation skills;
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
