We are seeking a Data Engineer with experience in SQL, Python, Azure (ADF, storage accounts, key vaults, SQL server/DBs) or alternatives in other cloud platforms, Databricks, and working with APIs to join our Data Strategy Services team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify problems and conceptualize potential solutions, and the ability to work independently on small projects and as part of a team on larger initiatives.

Working as INDEAVR Data Engineer you will excel at:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure solutions
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements
Identify and conceptualize solutions to complex data problem
Divide large tasks into smaller, manageable steps and follow through with execution
Work independently on small projects and as part of a team on larger initiatives
Build ETL processes to ingest and transform data from various sources
Create and maintain data models for relational databases
Communicate with stakeholders to understand, document, and fulfill their data requirements
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for performance and reliability
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends

What we look for:

Degree in a relevant bachelor or master program (preferably from a program with quantitative coursework – Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.)
2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
Strong analytical skills
Passion for data analysis and willingness to understand data in the context of the client’s business model and challenges
Experience with SQL, Python, Azure (ADF, storage accounts, key vaults, SQL server/DBs) or alternatives in other cloud platforms, Databricks, and working with APIs
Proven ability to identify problems and conceptualize potential solutions
Experience building ETL processes and working with relational databases
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently on small projects and as part of a team on larger initiatives
Proactive, self-starter with an eagerness to learn new concepts and technologies
