The Role

As an Architect & Team Lead, you’ll shape impactful software solutions for international clients - 80% hands-on in architecture and development, 20% dedicated to leading and coaching a local team in Portugal. You'll drive full-cycle product delivery using modern technologies like .NET and React, with a strong focus on quality and DevOps practices. How you'll make an impact

• In a dual role as Architect and Team Lead (distribution: 80% architect/20% team lead), you combine your technical career and leadership expertise;
• As a team leader in the "Software Excellence" practice in Portugal, with enthusiasm and passion, you are an enabler, coach, and first point of contact for your team members;
• You are responsible for engineering purpose-built business applications for international clients. You'll be involved in the whole lifecycle of taking an idea from building to going live with a product;
• You take over the technical management of teams from kick-off to rollout and are in close contact with the project management;
• Through your leadership skills, you win over, inspire, and mobilise your team and customers alike;
• You embrace AI as an opportunity to create software in a better way.

What’s Important to Us

• You have practical experience with the design of software systems, following a methodological approach, using concepts like DDD and hexagonal architecture;
• Ideally, you already have leadership experience and see yourself as an inspiring leader and coach;
• With your university degree in computer science, you have acquired valuable knowledge in modern software engineering;
• You have practical experience with full-stack development in the .NET ecosystem. You are experienced in modern web development frameworks like React or Angular. You have a DevOps mindset and understand that high code quality and automated testing are crucial;
• You are learning and success-oriented. You are motivated to achieve ambitious goals in a team and to be in direct contact with the customer;
• Fluent in English;
• You are ready to travel to clients in countries like Switzerland and Germany for a few days a month;
• While we offer very flexible working arrangements, we'd like to occasionally meet you in our office to participate in a lively community.
