How you'll make an impact

At Zühlke, you will work to ensure the success of our financial services clients' strategic technology transformation initiatives and modernisation programmes.

• As a trusted advisor, you will build strong relationships with key decision makers at our banking and financial services clients, providing deep insight and expert guidance to help them make the right technological choices.
• As a Principal Software Consultant, you will design architecture for large, complex applications and lead their implementation from concept to go-live, ensuring technical excellence and business impact.

What is important to us

• You have a degree in computer science or a related field and many years of experience as a software engineer and architect in the enterprise financial services environment.
• You bring solid experience in implementing large-scale transformation programs - such as modernization initiatives, the introduction of core banking software, or other major projects that go beyond individual applications.
• You have experience in organizational integration and collaboration with enterprise architecture teams.
• Ideally, you have experience working for an IT service provider or have independently acquired and delivered projects in the banking sector as a freelancer. Additionally, you bring experience in business development and winning software projects.
• You are a hands-on consultant who uses extensive software engineering knowledge to drive strategic decisions with stakeholders from a wide range of disciplines and levels.
• You have in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, especially banking or insurance, and a strong personal network of contacts with customers and partners.
• You understand the value of personal relationships and enjoy working with clients and colleagues. A hybrid working model with 2–3 days on site at the client’s or Zühlke’s offices is natural for you.
• You are inquisitive and constantly learning about the application of new technology trends in your focus area, such as AI, Blockchain, or Cloud Computing.
