IT Business Analyst

We are seeking for a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to enhance our technical landscape supporting the Energy Trading business. This role involves analyzing, defining, and validating business processes and data and their supporting applications, ensuring effective communication between business and IT teams.

What you will do:

  • Understand business processes and data in Energy Trading and Asset Optimization & Logistics;
  • Define and document processes, data, interfaces, and IT system functionalities, being able to propose improvements and potential reengineering for those;
  • Analyze business and IT needs consistently to produce clear technical requirements;
  • Analyze incidents, perform root cause analysis, and create diagnostics;
  • Conduct testing and validation of business requirements and technical implementations;
  • Perform the role of power user / key user and collaborate with real users for product evolution;
  • Coordinate and communicate with business stakeholders, IT teams and management.

What you bring & who you are:

  • University degree in Industrial, Energy, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related fields;
  • Over 5 years of experience in IT engineering projects, particularly in inception-analysis and testing-validation phases applying modeling and design tools and methods;
  • Domain knowledge in energy or trading;
  • Experience in the development and operation of custom applications or vertical products. Experience in software development is highly appreciated;
  • Strong communication skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders;
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach;
  • Full Fluency in English together with written English is a must (C1), a good understanding of Spanish would be a plus.
