Responsibilities
We are looking for a Team Manager (all genders) to lead and support multiple software development teams working on TeamViewer Frontline. This role involves strategic oversight, people management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement across teams. You will work closely with other R&D leaders and contribute to department-wide initiatives in an agile, modern environment.
- Manage and mentor several agile software development teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical strategy.
- Drive the execution of the product roadmap in collaboration with Product Management and other stakeholders.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee team capacity planning, resource allocation, and hiring to support growth and delivery.
- Promote agile principles and support teams in adopting best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Support the professional development of team members through coaching, feedback, and career planning.
- Act as a key liaison between engineering teams and senior management, translating technical progress into business-relevant updates.
- Champion a culture of open communication, psychological safety, and accountability.
Requirements
- A university or college degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a managerial role within software development, ideally in an agile environment.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a solid understanding of modern development practices and technologies.
- Proven track record of leading multiple teams or a larger development organization.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalable systems, and development lifecycle management.
- Experience in strategic planning, team building, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages such as German are a plus.
