The Data Scientist will have strong software engineering skills, enabling them to transform data-driven ideas into scalable, high-quality products that will drive innovation across R&D, manufacturing, sales and marketing, and connected tyres.

YOUR CORE ACTIVITIES

• Translate business questions to data science problems.
• Design and implement robust, reusable, and well-tested data science modules.
• Develop, tune, and deploy ML models within production-grade pipelines.
• Collaborate with data engineers on data ingestion, feature pipelines, and model serving.
• Apply software engineering best practices (code structure, testing, CI/CD).
• Communicate results and technical decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, Statistics or any other data-oriented disciplines, PhD is a plus.
• Passion and curiosity for data, continuous learning, and building data-driven solutions that make an impact.
• Sound understanding of statistics and ML theory, including multivariate analysis, Bayesian methods, and time series.
• Strong programming background in Python, with solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, testing and clean code principles.
• Experience in model development and deployment – from prototyping to production.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with GIT, CI is a must.
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams.

NICE TO HAVE

• Working experience with AWS cloud framework and services.
• Knowledge of Docker and container-based deployments.
• Familiarity with backend web development frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI, and ORM tools like SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Exposure to Spark or distributed processing frameworks.
