What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Develop and deliver back-end features in the team’s product platform and tools;
  • Maintain and upgrade the back-end components using state-of-the-art technologies that are future compatible;
  • Establish and document back-end processes: development, operations and maintenance;
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders for planning, development and delivery of backlog items;
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define the product platform roadmap;
  • Ensure the product platform meets all quality, security, and modifiability standards;
  • Perform ad-hoc and operational tasks to ensure high availability and performance of tools portfolio.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate has experience in the following areas: 

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
  • Proven experience as a developer, with focus on back-end development;
  • Track record of successfully delivering back-end solutions supporting customer-facing web applications;
  • Proficiency in software development and back-end technologies including Docker, Azure Cloud concepts and resources;
  • Exposure to Computer Networking tasks;
  • Familiarity with Database technologies (primarily SQL-based databases);
  • A technical mindset with great attention to detail;
  • Experience with cross-functional teams (designers, developers, testers, product owners) across different geographical locations within a large organization;
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills (English);
  • Structured way of working and strong documentation skill.

Technical Qualifications

  • Expertise within cloud platforms (Azure Cloud) and related services (especially with regards to Web applications);
  • Competencies on Software Version Control tools (Git);
  • Deep experience with DevOps principles and practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code) and Agile development (Scrum, Kanban);
  • Familiarity with Artifactory tools (Jfrog or equivalent);
  • Advanced grasp of Networking concepts: DNS, routing, protocols, addressing;
  • Understanding of Angular Framework;
  • Knowledge of API design, implementation and integration;
  • Understanding of database technologies (primarily SQL-based databases);
  • Familiarity with Express.js Framework.

The following qualifications are a bonus:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps (Wiki, Repos, Pipelines, Tests);
  • Working knowledge of AI usage for customer-facing solutions;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio Code;
  • Familiarity with web technologies (TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS), Node.js and Python;
  • Knowledge within the Frequency Converters domain;
  • Familiarity with C# and .NET.
