Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Developer to join a team delivering a project for a client from the EU public sector. The person in this role will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and maintaining IT infrastructure in cloud and hybrid environments using IaC tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible).

Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and maintain Infrastructure as Code scripts (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.);
Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure (on-premise, cloud, hybrid);
Participate in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes;
Collaborate with DevOps teams, architects, administrators, testers, and security specialists;
Maintain and develop containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes);
Manage monitoring, configuration management, backup, and disaster recovery;
Participate in transformation projects (digital transformation, cloud migrations, DevSecOps implementations);
Develop and maintain integrations with web services (REST API);
Perform programming and automation using Python;
Document solutions, create technical guides, and contribute to team knowledge sharing;
Ensure compliance with security requirements and EC (European Commission) standards.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position (experience in public sector/EU projects preferred);
Strong knowledge of IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible (CloudFormation, CDK are a plus);
Experience working with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments;
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps);
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes);
Knowledge of IT security, test automation, and monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk);
Teamwork skills and good command of English (minimum B2);
Relevant professional certifications are a plus (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Terraform Associate, ITIL);
Ability to adapt to a dynamic, changing environment;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Independence, proactivity, and a willingness to understand project objectives.
