- As an AI Architect, you are responsible for designing and implementing advanced AI solutions within our organization. You translate business needs into technical AI strategies and supervise the implementation of models that make an impact;
- You will collaborate closely with experienced colleagues on (open)AI projects. You will take ownership of the entire AI lifecycle and guide Data Associates and Data Scientists throughout these projects, which are primarily executed in the Microsoft Azure Cloud;
- You work closely with clients to study data, gather business requirements and constraints, and translate these into data needs;
- You define data requirements, perform data collection and preparation, and analyze and report on data quality;
- You translate business issues into machine learning or AI contexts, including model selection, feature engineering, and more—applying state-of-the-art AI knowledge to specific use cases;
- You develop applications in computer vision, generative AI, OpenAI, NLP, time series analysis, regression/classification, clustering, simulation, optimization, and summarization techniques;
- You objectively evaluate model performance and chosen approaches, applying explainable AI techniques where relevant to support and clarify model outcomes;
- You create interactive visualizations to enhance data-driven decision-making;
- You support the presales team by contributing to proposals for innovative AI projects.
What you need to succeed:
- You have a strong experience in AI strategy, implementation, and consulting;
- You have in-depth knowledge of AI technologies, use cases and applications, and you closely follow market updates;
- You are familiar with risk management frameworks in AI applications, AI governance, policy and regulatory frameworks;
- You have proven experience in working with clients on AI-related business transformation projects, managing AI initiatives and delivering business value;
- You are passionate about continuous self-development and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem and technologies like Azure OpenAI;
- You are proficient in analytical programming languages such as Python and R, and familiar with libraries like pandas, numpy, pyspark, scikit-learn, keras, or tensorflow;
- You are experienced with development environments like Jupyter Notebooks or Visual Studio, and version control systems like Git;
- You bring a strong blend of statistical knowledge, programming skills, and business acumen;
- You hold certifications in Microsoft Azure and/or Databricks (a plus);
- You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can tackle complex technical challenges quickly;
- You are a team player with strong communication skills and collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients;
- A certain flexibility towards travel is required as you will work regularly on site at the customer. You can also work from the Cegeka offices in Ghent, Antwerp, Leuven, Diegem or Hasselt. There is also the possibility to work from home.
