Your responsibilities

The Lead AI Engineer is accountable for:

• Establishing Fadata’s AI implementation framework, standards, and governance.
• Leading cross-functional execution of AI rollouts (internal and client-facing).
• Ensuring AI solutions are adopted successfully, deliver measurable value, and remain compliant with quality, security, and regulatory expectations in insurance environments.
• Creating a development team to enhance Fadatas core insurance product.

What you bring to the table

Education/Certification:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications in one or more of: AI/ML (cloud vendor tracks), project/program management (PMP/Prince2), Agile/SAFe, or data governance.

Experience:

• 8+ years in software delivery/enterprise implementation, including leading AI/ML implementation or data-driven transformation programs.
• Demonstrated success scaling AI solutions from PoC to production in regulated or complex enterprise domains (insurance, banking, healthcare, telco, etc.).
• Strong background in solution architecture, delivery management, or technical program leadership.
• Experience with customer-facing delivery, stakeholder management, and complex multi-vendor ecosystems.
• Familiarity with cloud AI stacks (Azure AI, AWS, GCP) and MLOps practices.

Technical & Domain Understanding:

• Solid understanding of AI/ML lifecycle: data readiness → model development → validation → deployment → monitoring → retraining.
• Working knowledge of:
  • LLM/GenAI use cases (assistant/agent patterns, RAG, prompt engineering).
  • Classic ML (classification, prediction, anomaly detection).
  • MLOps tooling (model registry, CI/CD for ML, monitoring, drift detection).
• Data platforms, integration patterns, and APIs.
• Strong grasp of insurance business processes, data sensitivity, and regulatory constraints is preferred.
