About This Role:
As a Cyber Security Analyst (junior), you will be a pivotal member of our dynamic cyber security team, tasked with analyzing security data to identify trends, vulnerabilities, and areas of concern. You will delve into incidents, security assessments, and remediation efforts, maintaining detailed documentation of data sources and methodologies. Your role involves collaborating with stakeholders to prepare and present reports on security analytics, encompassing risk assessments and ROI analyses. Your contributions will enhance our security posture, aiding in the protection of our network and systems and adding value to our overall business operations in a continually evolving environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze security data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern;
- Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis processes;
- Work with stakeholders to prepare and present reports on security analytics, including risk assessments and ROI analyses;
- Use existing cyber security tools to improve insight into our environment;
- Evaluate new tooling and research security enhancements for recommendations;
- Provide reporting on the effectiveness of security controls for risk remediation;
- Coordinate with the SOC Tier I team to utilize cyber intelligence data feeds;
- Expand cyber security monitoring to other business areas;
- Collaborate with the Security Engineering team to assess potential control weaknesses;
- Prioritize and communicate cyber risk or threat information;
- Offer advice on risk remediation strategies.

Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or information systems;
- 0-2 years of experience in cyber security, networking, vulnerability management, or related areas;
- Proficiency in analyzing security data and preparing reports;
- Strong documentation and analytical skills;
- Experience with cyber security tools and methodologies;
- Ability to work in a fixed shift schedule.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cyber intelligence data feeds and threat hunting;
- Familiarity with security control effectiveness reporting;
- Knowledge of cross-referencing security and vulnerability information from multiple tools.
