We are looking for a hands-on Lead Full-Stack Engineer to join a fast-growing, well-funded cybersecurity startup on a mission to redefine modern security. This role combines deep technical ownership with leadership responsibility — you will help shape the product, influence architectural decisions, and set a high engineering standard from day one.

You’ll work closely with founders and an international team in a startup environment that values proactivity, independence, and accountability. We are seeking someone who is comfortable taking ownership end-to-end, communicates fluently in English, and thrives in a high-bar, performance-driven culture. This is a key role for someone who wants to make a real impact while helping build and lead a strong engineering team as the company scales.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of our web-based cybersecurity platform, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and high-performance;
• Own delivery end-to-end - from technical concept and architecture to production readiness and long-term maintainability;
• Provide technical leadership to the team: set engineering standards, guide architectural decisions, and lead by example;
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers to translate ambitious product ideas into robust technical solutions;
• Mentor engineers, conduct high-quality code reviews, and foster a culture of ownership, proactivity, and engineering excellence;
• Design and implement frontend and backend systems using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python, with a strong focus on usability and performance;
• Architect secure APIs and backend services, embedding security best practices at every layer;
• Drive quality and reliability through testing strategies, performance optimization, and proactive issue resolution;
• Contribute to team growth, supporting technical interviews and helping maintain a high hiring bar.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in full-stack development, delivering secure, scalable, user-focused applications;
• Proven technical leadership experience - either as a Team Lead or as a senior engineer owning architecture and mentoring others;
• Strong startup mindset: proactive, independent, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving environment;
• AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) - hands-on experience required;
• Frontend expertise: React expert, delivering responsive, seamless UIs;
• Backend expertise: Strong in TypeScript, Node.js, Python;
• Databases: Postgres, MongoDB, SQL/NoSQL databases, and ORM frameworks;
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS (preferred), Azure or GCP; Docker and Kubernetes experience;
• Excellent communication skills in English, able to work effectively with international stakeholders;
• Leadership: mentor and lead by example in technical best practices.
