The role
The Business Analytics Manager will join our Central Pricing team, lead a team of Data Analysts and Data Scientists to transform raw data into actionable business insights, guiding strategic decisions and performance improvement. Main key responsibilities include developing business strategies, managing and mentoring a team of analysts, creating reports and dashboards, and communicating findings to senior stakeholders. This role requires a combination of technical skills (like statistical modeling, SQL, and BI tools) and strong leadership abilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collaboration with sales teams, data analysis, and team management in an e-commerce or classifieds context, with a proven ability to drive impactful decisions that enhance market positioning and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts to deliver meaningful solutions enabling to achieve company goals
- Foster a culture of collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement within the Pricing team
- Set clear performance objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and support career development for team members
- Develop and implement data strategies that support the company's objectives and enhance data utilization
- Oversee the development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools
- Collaborate with various departments to identify analytical needs and deliver solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Actively participate in both local and regional data and analytics projects
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across all systems through robust data governance practices
- Identify opportunities to improve data collection processes and reporting
What will you need to be successful in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in Data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- A minimum of 6+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data management roles
- 2+ years of proven leadership experience managing data and analytics teams
- Experience and knowledge how to define key metrics for the business growth
- Understanding of eCommerce in general or Classifieds business will be an advantage
- Very good English skills (B2/C1 is a must)
