As a Senior Front-end Software Engineer in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, you will have the opportunity to solve challenging technical problems and contribute to the development, delivery and operation of cloud services that will enable animation, film, and game development studios to migrate their entire production pipeline to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the engineering delivery of an assigned part of the software solution.
• Work collaboratively with other developers, architects, managers, and different Oracle teams to deliver features and launch new cloud services.
• Proactively identify and resolve risks and issues that may dent the team’s ability to execute.
• Drive engineering efforts and provide direction to other members of the team.
• Develop a long-term technical roadmap for the solution area.
• Setting up development pipelines and deploying applications into development, test, and production environments. You will develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and scaling of distributed applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of software engineering work experience.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience in developing user-friendly front-end solutions using JavaScript.
• Solid knowledge of modern front-end JS frameworks, such as Angular and/or React, etc.
• Strong experience with REST API development and consumption in order to integrate front-end and back-end systems.

Nice-to-have Qualifications:

• Experience with designing and prototyping UX/UI in modern tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
• mobile platform development (ideally video streaming experience)
• cross/multi-platform development experience (e.g. in Kotlin)
• UX design experience
• Understanding of responsive design principles.
• Good understanding of developing customer-facing microservice-based architectures, tiered architectures, including virtualization, containerization, and REST API interfaces.
• Hands-on experience in building highly available, high-traffic, distributed services, possessing knowledge of common service-oriented design patterns and service-to-service communication protocols. Familiarity concepts such as availability, observability, scalability, testability, recoverability, etc.
• Previous experience in utilizing public cloud services from the current major providers (such as Oracle, Azure, AWS, etc.) in developing complex software products.
• Domain knowledge and experience with workflows and pipelines for media production: digital asset management and namespaces, familiarity with 3d frameworks, universal scene description, scene graphs, layers and models, 3d data packaging, rendering workflows, image composition, tools used in the workflow by artists, engineers, editors, and content creators is a plus.
