As a Technical Team Lead you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of Business Partner Transparency (BPT) within our osapiens HUB. This enterprise-grade platform helps companies comply with critical ESG regulations like:

• The German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) – ensuring suppliers uphold human rights and environmental standards;
• The Whistleblower Directive – providing secure, anonymous reporting channels;
• The Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) – upcoming EU-wide sustainability compliance.

In this role, you will combine technical expertise with leadership, guiding a team of 5-7 engineers to build scalable, high-impact solutions. You will shape the team’s technical direction, champion best practices, and work closely with product managers to translate business needs into effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading by example by writing high-quality, scalable code while leading, mentoring, and reviewing contributions from team members;
• Shaping the technical direction by defining best practices and making architectural decisions that drive high-performance development;
• Driving agile development by facilitating stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure efficient workflows;
• Collaborating with product teams by working closely with product managers and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives;
• Fostering team growth by mentoring engineers, providing guidance, and creating opportunities for professional development;
• Staying ahead of industry trends by researching and introducing new technologies that improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Demonstrating proven leadership experience by having previously led teams as a Team Lead, Tech Lead, or Senior Engineer, with a strong focus on mentoring and guiding team members;
• Bringing expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js by developing scalable, high-performance applications with modern full-stack technologies;
• Applying a deep understanding of agile development by thriving in fast-paced, iterative environments and continuously improving team workflows;
• Exercising excellent problem-solving skills by breaking down complex business requirements into simple, effective technical solutions;
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders by collaborating seamlessly with both technical and non-technical teams to drive alignment and clarity;
• Embracing a servant leadership mindset by empowering and enabling your team to excel, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement;
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1). German is a bonus (B1+).
