About the role
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist (1st/2nd Line - Systems & Networks) to provide day-to-day technical support to internal company end users. The role involves working with Active Directory, Windows and Linux systems, and network infrastructure, including firewalls and VPN solutions.
This position is well suited for a hands-on support professional who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with users, and growing towards systems and network administration.
Your responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to end users (hardware, software, OS, peripherals);
- User account management in Active Directory - users, groups, access rights, basic GPO tasks;
- Installation, Support and maintenance of Windows and Linux workstations and servers;
- Basic configuration and troubleshooting of network devices (switches, routers, Wi-Fi);
- Assist in the administration of firewalls - rule changes, VPN support, basic diagnostics;
- Troubleshoot connectivity, authentication, and performance issues;
- Escalate complex incidents to senior engineers and follow up on resolution;
- Document incidents, configurations, and standard procedures;
- Follow internal IT and information security policies.
Role's requirements
- 2+ years of experience in IT support (1st/2nd line) or a similar technical role;
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and Windows environments;
- Basic to intermediate understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs);
- Experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server; basic Linux knowledge is a plus;
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset;
- A proactive mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Fluent spoken and written English;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related degree.

- Exposure to firewall platforms (FortiGate, Palo Alto, pfSense, Cisco, etc.);
- Experience with VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL VPN);
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 / Entra ID (Azure AD);
- Experience with ticketing and monitoring systems;
- Technical certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.).
