AS A SENIOR ENGINEERING MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

• Lead and drive projects from idea formulation to design and implementation.
• Drive great partnership with the product management team.
• Set team strategy and be accountable for team plans and deliverables.
• Grow and build a strong, healthy and diverse team through hiring, mentoring and coaching.
• Collaborate with other engineering and cross functional teams.
• Provide strong technical leadership to the team and partner teams.
• Enable the data science organization, business groups, engineering teams to build comprehensive analytics quickly and effectively.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• 10+ years hands-on software development experience, including experience working with large-scale cloud data platforms.
• 5+ years of engineering management experience.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering impactful results.
• Prior experience driving company initiatives and growth of the business in collaboration with product managers, marketing, sales, etc.
• A background in SQL engines, especially in SQL compilation and/or streaming systems.
• Demonstrated track record of managing operational excellence to ensure service availability, reliability and scalable performance.
• Proven track record of recruiting, hiring, leading and growing technical teams.
• BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.
