The Senior Full‑Stack Engineer (.NET/C#) - CUSS is a key contributor in the software development cycle of all products related to CUSS platform and applications. They have a strong understanding of the CUSS environment and can provide guidance and direction to other developers while contributing to a culture of innovation.

They work independently, based on management directions, possibly with some support in the most complex situations.

They can also influence decisions related to their activity, contribute to transversal projects, propose improvements to processes and are accountable for own and team commitments.​

Function and technical expertise:

• Focus on CUSS platform development and frontend web applications running on CUSS Self Service Check-in kiosk and proprietary kiosk tools and framework;
• Participate in each step of the product development cycle including creating technical requirements, leading complex feasibility studies, project planning, identifying dependencies and improvements;
• Apply best practices on code quality and security-safe code through non-functional requirements mastery;
• Provide support and expertise to Product and Support teams in functional, technical recommendation for new solution including:
  • Apply best practices on code quality and security-safe code through non-functional requirements mastery;
  • Work on complex problems or changes where analysis of data requires in-depth evaluation. Investigate, analyze and give recommendations on the root causes of complex software and system defects;
  • Improve project delivery and provide recommendations for process improvement. * Develop software according to internal quality standards, and conduct unit, package and performance tests of software;
  • Participate in the validation/acceptance phase of the product cycle ensuring the fine-tuning necessary to finalize software products.

Technologies:

• Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of:
  • .Net C# (Mandatory);
  • Expertise in the IATA Common Use Self-Service (CUSS) Specifications and kiosk solutions to control and monitor hardware devices on physical Self Check-in Kiosk or Bag Drop platforms are a plus;
  • Travel industry IT experience is a plus.
