We are looking for a Business Analyst for different Telenet Shared Services teams within the Product Journey Tribe. The teams focus on Shared Services from Telenet to Wyre (network infrastructure company).

The Business Analyst optimizes the business value by designing the insights/concepts and solutions for existing as well as future challenges/questions and/or business needs, by bringing the opportunities for improvement forward and by building the bridge between the business and the technical department.

Your tasks as a Business Analyst:

• Together with customers and stakeholders you proactively gather the questions, issues and/or opportunities. You analyze the requirements and the impact on existing processes, systems, and tools. You inventorize, challenge and summarize the business questions, requirements, and improvement opportunities. You deliver the input for the value proposition and/or business case and/or decision making;
• Working closely with architects and technical staff, you explore and assess different solutions. You identify their effects on the organization, costs, and current procedures, including systems and interfaces. This ensures business operations run smoothly and leads to suggestions for enhancements. You also help decide on the best solution, guiding strategic and operational decisions. You facilitate the final choice for a solution (strategic and operational decision taking);
• You document the chosen solution and ensure the quality is full legal compliance. You explain these elements to the technical teams for the implementation of the solution;
• You describe the chosen solution direction (business requirements, user stories, etc.) and align it (and have it validated) with the business stakeholders. You develop and maintain coherent business processes and/or data and/or business requirements documentation or procedures (and/or training materials);
• You set the acceptance criteria and approve the complete solution alongside stakeholders. Then, you lead them in properly carrying out necessary tasks, activities, and change management. If applicable, this also means testing the solution;
• You act as a point of contact and domain expert for internal stakeholders as well as external partners and/or vendors/suppliers. You organize the knowledge administration and manage the consistent documentation for this business domain;
• You provide and/or consolidate the factual and/or statistical information and/or analyse to support operational and strategic decision making.

Our ideal Business Analyst:

• You have a master or bachelor degree and 5 year of relevant experience;
• You have proficient knowledge of English. Dutch is a plus;
• You have sharp analytical abilities and tackle problems effectively, turning theory into practical solutions through business analysis;
• You have a technical (or IT) affinity and relevant experience with process modeling, management, and documentation;
• Knowledge of AWS is a plus;
• Knowledge of GIS-technology, location intelligence is a plus;
• You have good communication & stakeholder management skills.
