Introduction

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will design, build, and operate our next-generation software delivery platform. You will work within an Agile team alongside Architects, Taskforce Leaders, Test Leaders, DevOps Leads, and other Software Engineers contributing to the same initiative.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Full stack Engineer, you will develop the , automation pipelines, prompts, and governance mechanisms that transform software development — automating the workflow from: requirements → design → code → test → deploy → documentation. Your work will directly enable rapid, safe, and consistent software delivery.

Required technical and professional expertise

Strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (planning, requirements, design, build, test, deploy, operate, maintain);
Expertise in Python and TypeScript (React);
Solid SQL knowledge (nice to have);
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, GCP Cloud Build, etc.);
Experience in build and deployment automation (Docker, Terraform, etc.);
Strong fundamentals in cloud platforms (GCP or Azure);
GenAI & Agentic Engineering Skills;
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, CodeWhisperer, Gemini Code Assist);
Practical experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks (e.g., Google ADK);
Knowledge of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and how to use MCP servers to extend LLM capabilities;
GCP: Agent Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Firestore, Secret Manager, IAM, etc.;
Frameworks: Google ADK (Python), FastAPI;
Developer Tools: Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot.
