ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll join the Web platform, working with React, Next.js, and TypeScript to build a fast, modern, and scalable platform used by millions each month. You’ll take ownership of frontend quality and help set standards and direction for how we build and evolve the web platform.

As a senior member of the client team, you’ll influence architecture, contribute to technical decision-making, and help raise the overall quality and sustainability of our web platform, and the whole product.

In this role, you will:

• Build, ship, and maintain high-quality features using React, Next.js, and TypeScript;
• Take part in architectural discussions, balancing speed, quality, and maintainability;
• Collaborate closely with the backend and client engineers, designers, and product managers;
• Use data and user insights to guide product, performance, and technical decisions;
• Contribute to cross-team initiatives that improve developer experience, reliability, and scalability.

ABOUT YOU

You have:

• Several years of professional experience in web development;
• Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript;
• A solid understanding of performance optimization and web accessibility;
• Experience with Node.js, Express.js, and modern build pipelines (e.g. Vite, Webpack, Babel);
• Comfort taking full ownership of web development tasks and delivering independently when working as the sole web developer within a broader client or product team;
• Familiarity with Docker and Git-based workflows;
• Clear communication skills you can explain the why behind your technical decisions;
• A collaborative mindset;
• Communicative level of English.

It’s great if you also have:

• Experience migrating larger or legacy codebases to modern frameworks;
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics;
• Familiarity with design systems and maintaining UI consistency across platforms.
