IT Senior Manager for Analytics Platforms

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced IT Senior Manager for Analytics Platforms to join our team. This role is responsible for the overall data & analytics solutions “Design, Deploy and Sustain” activities across Galderma, ensuring scalability, performance, reusability, compliance, and consistency, leveraging best practices in data ingestion, data modeling, integration, data science and front-end reporting.

Main Responsibilities:

Provide support and consultancy to project teams, IT Service Owners, and Application Support teams to ensure compliant and integrated solutions;
Share solution designs across regions and functions to drive collaboration and synergies;
Ensure solutions maximize global and business ROI and support integrated reporting and analytics;
Manage and document the portfolio of current and future solutions, ensuring effective communication;
Act as the main point of contact for project, security, architecture, and infrastructure teams;
Coordinate internal and external resources for data acquisition, engineering, development, delivery and hyper-care/sustain;
Conduct design reviews for new solutions and major changes to existing ones;
Define requirements and priorities for data acquisition and standardize processes for loading and maintaining critical data;
Ensure consistent data models and adherence to data standards, raising gaps to leadership;
Govern reporting tools roadmap, maintain global templates, and enhance user experience and visualization capabilities;
Partner with business units to deploy compliant data science tools and scale advanced analytics initiatives;
Lead sustainment strategies for applications, ensuring efficient support, monitoring, and knowledge transfer;
Recruit, develop, and manage platform engineering professionals, providing budgeting and resources;
Collaborate with service management and external teams to resolve gaps in solution support;
Contribute to setting the direction of the Global IT organization and act as "One Enterprise IT".

Key Requirements:

Minimum 5 years plus experience managing onshore and offshore teams;
10-plus years work experience in managing data-related activities within a Commercial organization;
Minimum 5 years plus in Business Intelligences Reporting or/and Visualization tools;
Strong experience with design, development, and deployment of multiple complex or large-scale operational analytics capabilities;
Fluent in Azure cloud data architecture, orchestration, and data integration patterns (Data Factory, Event Hub, Databricks, etc.), storage and processing (Datalake, Snowflake);
Experience with the implementation of self-service analytic solution such as PowerBI, or BOBJ (Business Objects) strongly preferred;
Familiarity with DevOps best practices and automation of documentation, testing, build, deployment, configuration, and monitoring;
Good understanding of Azure Cloud PaaS services like security, monitoring, logging, scaling, etc.;
Familiar with data frameworks such as Data Fabric, Data Mesh, Data Lakehouse;
Broad knowledge of predictive analytic techniques and statistical diagnostics of models;
Experience with health care data as well as FMCG/CPG industries;
Master’s degree or equivalent with a specialization in IT or information systems;
PMP Certification and Scrum Master certification is a plus.
