Role Summary

We are looking for a technically experienced developer or tester who wants to go beyond individual contribution and gradually grow into coordination, planning, and people management responsibilities—while staying close to real, production-grade technology.

This role is ideal for someone who is motivated by purpose, scale, and responsibility, and who wants to shape both how complex 5G systems are built and how teams collaborate to deliver them.

Key Responsibilities

What You Will Work On

• Development and evolution of 5G Core SMF software used in commercial networks;
• Engineering solutions that must meet carrier‑grade requirements: reliability, scalability, performance, and security;
• Collaboration with teams whose work directly impacts mobile connectivity, IoT, and critical communication services worldwide;
• Gradual transition from purely technical tasks toward delivery coordination and team support activities.

Technical & Product Responsibilities

• Contribute to development or testing of 5G Core (SMF) functionality;
• Participate in design discussions, defect analysis, and technical decision‑making;
• Support planning of features, releases, and technical improvements;
• Work closely with architects, system engineers, and DevOps teams.

Coordination & People‑Management Growth

• Support day‑to‑day coordination of engineering activities within the team;
• Help balance priorities, dependencies, and delivery commitments;
• Facilitate communication between technical roles and stakeholders;
• Support onboarding, knowledge sharing, and mentoring of team members;
• Gradually take on people‑management responsibilities (guidance, feedback, performance and salary management), with structured support and mentoring provided by your mentor and buddy.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Actively explore and apply AI‑assisted tools for engineering, testing, and planning;
• Contribute to improving engineering processes in a highly complex, distributed environment.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications (Must Have)

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Test Engineer;
• Strong ambition to grow into coordination, leadership, or management roles;
• Interest in planning, organisation, and working with people;
• Solid communication skills in an international, multicultural environment;
• AI enthusiast mindset, with curiosity about applying AI in engineering and delivery contexts.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience in telecommunications, distributed systems, or network software;
• Experience with cloud technologies (containers, Kubernetes, cloud‑native architectures);
• Involvement in project engineering or project management activities;
• Familiarity with requirements management in complex systems.
