We are looking for Aerospace/Software Engineers, Computer Scientist graduates or PhDs (or of another discipline with equivalent experience) with 3 or more years experience in project management, software integration, validation, testing, requirements engineering to work in ground segment systems and join our service team at our client EUMETSAT in Darmstadt.

Core team activities:

• Requirements Engineering;
• Design and development support;
• Integration, Verification and Validation (IV&V) activities preparation and support.

Requirements/Desired Experience:

• Relevant graduate degree or equivalent experience;
• Project or technical management support;
• Project management experience in engineering (space, aeronautics or similar) and familiarity with standards, development methodologies and complex system building;
• Space and ground system engineering processes, system and software life cycles and standards;
• Experience in project planning, execution, monitoring, control and/or closure (able to prepare project opening forms, project management plans, project schedules, project budget and resource plans and project closure forms);
• Definition or implementation of standard project management practices (i.e. risk management, action control, reporting, scheduling & planning);
• Project management certification - PMP/Prince2/PM2/AgilePM;
• Project QA, data analytics and KPIs;
• Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence.

Personal characteristics:

• Comfortable in a diverse international work environment;
• High degree of working autonomy and problem solving skills;
• Very good English communication skills;
• Team-player.
