Senior Manager, IT Network Infrastructure

We are seeking a Senior Manager for Network Infrastructure to lead and empower a global team of network experts. The primary objective of this role is to create the right environment for technical excellence; providing guidance, support, and resources so the team can deliver outstanding results.
The ideal candidate is a professional manager with solid network knowledge, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven ability to foster collaboration and high performance across multicultural teams in US, Europe, and APAC.
Responsibilities
- Ensure service continuity by overseeing resilience planning, incident response readiness, and proactive risk mitigation;
- Define the long‑term network infrastructure vision aligned with the group strategy and create the conditions (resources, governance, standards, communication) to achieve it;
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of network specialists, ensuring they have the support and environment needed to excel;
- Set clear goals, manage performance, and facilitate professional growth for team members;
- Promote a culture of collaboration, trust, and continuous improvement;
- Coordinate project delivery, resource allocation, and operational priorities in alignment with business objectives;
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, translating technical topics into clear, actionable updates;
- Oversee budget management, vendor relationships, and ensure efficient use of resources;
- Maintain a high-level understanding of network technologies and trends to guide strategic decisions and support the team;
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Technologies in Use
While deep expertise is not required, familiarity with the following technologies is beneficial:
- Aruba AFC (Automated Fabric Composer);
- Cisco SD-WAN;
- SSE Prisma Access (Palo Alto);
- Meraki;
- F5 (load balancers);
- Palo Alto Firewalls;
- Aviatrix;
- AWS (Amazon Web Services);
- Azure (Microsoft Azure).
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on leading technical teams;
- Proven track record in team leadership, project management, and budget oversight;
- Good understanding of network infrastructure concepts and technologies;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and regions;
- Experience managing teams in a global, multicultural environment (US, Europe, APAC).
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with network infrastructure in enterprise environments;
- Exposure to vendor management and contract negotiations;
- Ability to support and guide technical experts, rather than act as the primary technical authority.
