Your mission & challenges

As a senior cloud service developer, you will be responsible for developing, extending and supporting Neura’s cloud offerings and internal tooling. As a senior team member your responsibility also extends to coaching talent, coordinate with other teams about synergies and complex features and supporting architects with defining standards and identifying best practices. You challenge the status-quo and come up with new ideas, while also capable of compromise with the team when appropriate.

Lead hybrid (edge and native) cloud backend service developments;
Contribution to internal shared tooling and common library development;
Design and implement new service features;
Coordinate with stakeholders on requirements and dependencies;
Support and improve existing services;
Coordinate with developers within and outside of the technical team;
Provide input for engineering managers, architects and project managers on effort estimations and development schedules;
Actively contribute to projects and guide other team members.

What we can look forward to

10+ years of hands-on experience with large scale cloud-based software development;
Proficiency in Python, Golang;
Experience with tooling and shared library development;
Good communication and problem solving skills;
Experience in API design and development. Hands on knowledge in gRPC and OpenApi specs and implementation, code generation (API first approach);
Experience with event driven design and cluster based modern message brokers (e.g. Kafka);
Pragmatic, solution oriented personality/more a doer and less a “philosopher”;
Experience or exposure to IoT, Robotics and AI training and inference is a plus;
Java, C/C++, Nodejs/Typescript experience is a plus.
