We are looking for a Technical Product Owner to lead the governance, structure, and integration of customer and variant data across enterprise systems, ensuring scalable, accurate, and future-ready configuration management capabilities.

What you will do

  • Own the data governance framework for the Customer & Variant Database Program, ensuring data standards, policies, and quality requirements are defined, implemented and continuously improved;
  • Establish and maintain product data models, taxonomies, variant rules, and attribute structures that serve as the authoritative foundation for all downstream systems;
  • Support from strategy to execution, ensuring accurate, consistent and timely movement of product, customer, and variant data across connected systems (e.g., CRM, PIM, IT systems, production);
  • Collaborate with architects, developers and testers to ensure data models align with technical architecture, scalability needs and system requirements, while maintaining alignment between product teams, business stakeholders and operations to ensure governance principles and integration rules are understood and applied;
  • Oversee the data integration lifecycle, including mapping, transformation logic, versioning and impact assessments for new releases;
  • Act as a foundational expert, ensuring that the entire Customer & Variant Database platform is built on strong, reliable, and future‑proof data structures;
  • Assess, understand and support existing (“as is”) data structures and processes and actively support where required.

What you bring

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field;
  • 5+ years of experience in configuration systems;
  • Strong understanding of product data structures, variant logic, attribute frameworks, and complex configuration models;
  • Knowledge of data governance principles, including data ownership, quality management, lineage, stewardship, and lifecycle processes;
  • Experience in product data management, data governance, master data management (MDM), or systems integration roles;
  • Proven experience working with large-scale data integrations, API-based data exchanges, and cross-system mapping;
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, PIM, MDM, PLM or other data‑heavy platforms.

Personal competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to translate ambiguous requirements into clear data solutions;
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, architecture, and product teams within agile environments;
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex structures to both technical and non technical stakeholders;
  • Proactive, structured, and capable of owning a foundational technical domain in a large-scale, high-impact program.
