Tesla is seeking a Software Product Support Engineer for the LV Battery and LV power distribution to join our Service Engineering team in Europe which is part of the Vehicle Software organization. This role is at a key connection point between the needs of the European market and global software development teams.
This role ensures the LV battery and LV power distribution system operate as intended, while minimizing cost of servicing and ownership. This involves analyzing data to identify issues or trends, creating repair and diagnostic procedures for repair technicians, and developing software-based fixes and diagnosability enhancements which roll out Over-The-Air. When a failure mode is unknown or new, Service Engineering get to the root cause and own issues through to resolution. The LV system is currently changing rapidly with the development of autonomous products and redundancy functions.
