JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required:

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related IT field;
• 5+ years backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js;
• Strong AWS experience: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, CDK, CloudFormation;
• Experience with AWS messaging services: SNS, SQS;
• NoSQL database experience: MongoDB;
• Experience with monitoring and logging: CloudWatch, Sentry;
• Infrastructure as Code (CDK) experience;
• Linux/Unix environment proficiency;
• Agile development methodology experience;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Clean code practices and code review experience;
• English communication skills (written and verbal).

Preferred:

• Relational database experience (PostgreSQL);
• Front-end technologies: Angular, RxJS, NgRx;
• Testing frameworks: Jest;
• Heroku platform experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop scalable backend services using AWS serverless architecture;
• Build and maintain APIs using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and related services;
• Implement and optimize database solutions (MongoDB);
• Debug production issues and implement monitoring solutions;
• Write comprehensive tests and maintain code quality standards;
• Collaborate in code reviews and architectural design sessions;
• Participate in agile ceremonies and cross-functional team collaboration;
• Document technical solutions and maintain system documentation;
• Monitor application performance and implement optimizations;
• Stay current with AWS services and backend development best practices.
