About the role:

As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will join a growing cross-functional team focused on building next-generation data platform capabilities. The team is responsible for Data Platform Enablement, creating new data products using both streaming and batch technologies, and is currently expanding to support increasing demand across multiple domains.

Responsibilities:

Create new data products within our AWS data platform, working with product teams and stakeholders to create data contracts and CDAs
Work with engineering teams to debug issues with setting up new data pipelines and batch jobs, pushing best practices across the platform
Need strong stakeholder management and communication skills, proactive approach to working with other teams and problem solving contract and data pipeline issues

Requirements:

Solid experience with AWS infrastructure
Good understanding of stream processing concepts
Familiarity with event-driven architecture and schema management practices
Strong foundation in data engineering, particularly in data transformation approaches
