About the role:

As an iOS Engineer on the Geo Navigation team, based in Bucharest, Tallinn, or Warsaw, you will design, develop, and deploy mobile solutions that improve the turn-by-turn navigation experience for drivers and couriers, coding mostly in Swift with elements of backend-driven UI. You'll collaborate closely with product-design and backend teams, support the migration of rider and eater maps to our internal solution, and help transform how millions of users interact with our mapping and navigation systems. Mobile engineers at Bolt typically get onboarded to backend within their first year, making this a great opportunity for those keen to grow as a full-stack engineer.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, A/B test, and deploy solutions that improve our user journey.
• Work closely with backend engineers to define and implement API integrations for driver-related business logic.
• Test solutions thoroughly, building meaningful unit tests and working closely with QA and automation engineers to cover standard and edge case scenarios.
• Build a deep understanding of our products and their impact on business metrics and end users, contributing ideas and feedback to our product roadmap.
• Lead feature development from idea to validated, positive impact for end users.

About you:

• You are great at making data-driven decisions that positively impact the business; experience in product companies with a strong experimentation culture is a plus.
• You have a drive for leading initiatives and features all the way through, and for monitoring their success even after delivery.
• You have experience testing and releasing mobile changes across multiple iOS versions, including unit testing and automation frameworks (XCTest, Quick/Nimble).
• You have strong principles towards writing clean, simple, secure, and maintainable code.
• You possess a solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
