What to Expect:

In this role you will:

• Investigate and resolve a wide range of customer security-related requests with precision and professionalism;
• Ensure compliance and operational excellence, safeguarding trust across the network;
• Drive innovation by contributing to projects that enhance our tools and workflows, integrating complex processes into daily operations;
• Analyze current practices of data, systems and network security infrastructure/controls. Develop and implement security policies and procedures and compliance controls;
• Analyze complex/sensitive security baseline non-compliance reports/cases and evaluate and recommend within defined practices and policies, methods and techniques for resolution;
• Ensure the monitoring of overall security systems including policies, methods and procedures, that safeguard the integrity of and access to enterprise systems, files and data elements;
• Notify management about security violations and propose solutions to possible security threats;
• Investigate complex/sensitive security matters, develop security risk analysis scenarios and propose response procedures;
• Provide management with information to advise them of critical issues that may affect customer, or corporate objectives;
• May conduct work on complex projects that include writing requirements, architecture design, proof of concept, supervision of implementation, training of staff on security projects;
• Identify potential areas where existing data security policies/controls and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed including security testing and checks for appropriate cyber defense;
• Take proactive steps to resolve problems before they arise;
• Maintain knowledge of changing technologies, and provide recommendations for adaptation of technologies or policies;
• May provide coaching and guidance to more junior staff. May be consulted on people and department management issues;
• Evaluate and ensure appropriateness of tools used to automate day to day control activities;
• May ensure appropriate security management access and compliance control of systems and networks.

We are seeking professionals with:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field: or equivalent work experience;
• 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
