Responsibilities

• Autonomously design, develop and execute business and technical software solutions to implement new or enhanced applications (upgrades or conversions)
• Analyze, identify and resolve business and/or technical problems using appropriate solutions and tools
• Act as a direct point of contact with Business Analysts and Project Managers to understand the business environment, technical context and organizational strategic direction
• Contribute to the definition and maintenance of development standards and best practices within the team
• Provide guidance and support to junior developers on delivery activities
• Stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies

We Require

• Bachelor or Master Degree (a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc. is a plus)
• Experience and knowledge of Digital Development Services, Agile Application Development, DevOps, Cloud-based applications and Microservices architecture and patterns
• Strong technical experience writing code using languages: Java EE, Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot, etc.), Single Page Application frameworks, Microservices, Docker, design patterns and architecture design, and SQL/NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of AI/ML technologies, such as cloud AI services, LLM platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI), basic ML frameworks and integration of AI APIs into enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of software development processes (Agile, Waterfall) and DevOps
• Ability to work with web-development tools for new applications with use of AI-assisted engineering tools
• Solid understanding of modern software design and development methodologies
